I'm a massive Buffalo Sauce fan although I want to feel my lips after, lol. I'm not a fan of Blue Cheese & with this version I don't need it to stop the burn 💪🏽 There's a delicious flaming hot recipe on the pkg, here's my milder less tangy variation! Note, I wanted my version to ‘drizzle’' nicely, so I wouldn’t get globs of heat stuck to my food. If you want it thick, use more ketchup and less water.
NOTE: it gets way hotter the next day! Eat ASAP use only 1tso mix
Not so Fiery Buffalo Drizzling Sauce
Combine in a small mason jar & shake (I'm obsessed with Jars, they're so much healthier for you than storing or eating foods out of plastic!)
1-2 Tbsp Ketchup - I love this Organic one! More ketchup = less heat!
1 Tbsp Honey (I use the raw honey from the bees down the street that fertilize my garden, much tastier & more natural than brown sugar)
1-2 Tbsp ACV - Apple Cider Vinegar (the good stuff with the mother)
2-3 Tbsp Water
Adjust to your own heat tolerance. When I'm making this for myself I do only 1 Tbsp Ketchup, when I'm making it for my kids I use 2 as they don’t like it as hot as me. Start with 1 Tbsp of ACV & add more to taste. You'll likely want to use 2 if you have 2 Tbsp Ketchup.
I 'painted' mine on my roasted cauliflower & drizzled it over my Navy Beans - It was RIDICULOUS - You've got to try my Buffalo Beans with Bacon - #Plantbased of course!
