Margherita Pizza, with extra Sass

This Pizza uses a brand new Epicure product with my own unique twist. It was an instant hit here tonight. I honestly expected the 3 boys to tolerate it. They’d choose a pepperoni or meat lovers typically. All of them came to find me to specifically comment on the pizza to ask what I did. #nailedit


Pizza Sauce - I combined it in my steamer and into the microwave 2 mins.

  • I pkg Lasagna Sauce Mix

  • 1.5 cups crushed tomato

  • drizzle of Olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp water

My favorite gluten pizza crust by far is Greek Pita's. If you can't eat gluten you MUST try our Gluten Free Pizza Crust with 6g of protein per serving!


Layer on your Favorite Crust:

  • Pizza sauce

  • Fresh Mozzarella Cheese (the soft stuff in a log shape), sliced or torn

  • Garden Fresh Tomatoes, sliced. Use as many as you have, my favorite bites had the fresh tomato in them.

  • Fresh basil, torn (I used 3-4 leaves PER pizza - never too much fresh basil - as as it cooked, half on top at the end)

  • Season!!! Now here's my fav twist that really changed this pizza. It needs salt. The mozza is plain, the sauce isn't salted, etc! I ground on a nice dusting of HERBED CHILI SALT! I added 1/2 Tsp of Chili Flakes and Garlic to my Herbed Garlic Salt Grinder. IT IS SOOOOO GOOD!!!

  • Sprinkle with more fresh basil.
