Chocolate Iced Capp (Coffee) smoothie

Updated: Feb 22, 2020

I love to have this for breakfast, it fills the void for me in my ridiculous Iced Capp consumption of the last few months! For my American friends, Iced Capps are a blended Coffee drink full of cream and sugar! Find Epicure‘s original Sweet Vanilla Ice Capp here

NOTE! My newest obsession is making this with Tahini! Chocolate and Tahini are a match made in heaven, I seriously want to eat this as 2 meals every day!! Food schmood!

Apparently I was so excited to enjoy the first one on the day of the Epic Life challenge, that I walked away from my kitchen without putting anything away 😆

I haven’t measured so this is approximate and adjust to your own taste! To make this GFRR Breakfast approved, enjoy a serving of fruit & a piece of toast on the side.

  • 6-8 ice cubes (I fill my large Ninja cup 1/2 way)

  • One scoop Epicure Power Up Chocolate protein (I do heaping cause I’m obsessed)

  • 1/2-1 tsp of vanilla or caramel extract

  • Tsp to Tbsp instant coffee granules (depends on your coffee love!)

  • A few grains of salt, I usually do about four twists - Salt enhances the flavor of chocolate!

  • Cashew milk or regular as needed, I typically start with a cup

  • Half a small avocado or 1/4 of a regular-sized (or skip this and add Peanut butter to your toast!) - EVEN BETTER! Use 2 tsp Tahini - OH MY!!

  • 1 tsp of Epicure Chocolate Truffle or a tsp of honey

  • 1/2c Spinach - optional - you won't taste it but it gives it a weird green hue, lol

Now keep in mind, this isn’t very sweet typically a smoothie has fruit or some other type of sweetener! If you love bananas throw a half a banana in there and don’t eat the fruit!

Happy Growing, Cooking & Eating! XO Dana K
