Quickled Red Onions are TO DIE FOR on burgers or with Mezze Platter. They’re also great as a punch on salads, in a gyro and on taco’s. Note! I don't follow the recipe on the quickles jar, that recipe calls for sugar and boiling.
I do 3 onions because I know my kids will gobble them down. I use these on Donair Dip (OMG), on Nourish Bowls, with a cheese or charcuterie plate, etc!
INGREDIENTS
3 onions, sliced on Epicure’s mandolin
2 cups Apple Cider Vinegar (or to cover) Costco has a fabulous ACV with the mother!
1.5 tbsp Quickle Seasoning
1 tsp salt – So good with Herbed Garlic Salt!
METHOD Toss all together. Ready to eat in 30 mins! Pack into Mason jars and store in your fridge indefinitely!
