  • Beef Ribs
  • Garlic
  • Epicure’s Chili Garlic Salt
  • Rib Seasoning if you desire

Season with garlic and sear in a hot pan.  Transfer to crock pot with juices from bottom of frying pan.  Put into your crock pot on low for the day.  It will fall off the bone!


Thai Zoodles

I was craving pad thai so I put together a bunch of similar ingredients and ate it with zoodles.  It’s not pad thai by any stretch although it is tasty!  I was having it with Thai Salad Rolls so I didn’t add chicken, add chicken if y0u’re having it as the main dish.

2-3 med  zucchini made into Zoodles

2 eggs whisked

Combine as sauce:

  • 2-3 Tbsp Honey or Coconut sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tsp Epicure’s Cinco Pepper
  • 2-3Tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 1 tsp Tamarind
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Handful of cilantro
  • 3 pinches of Epicure’s 3 onion (or fresh minced green onions if you have it)

Put a few tsp of coconut oil into your Epicure Wok. add sauce and simmer a min or two.  Add eggs and scramble, add zoodles and stir 1 minute at most.  Done!

Saucy Coconut Pork Roast

Loving my new Instant Pot (https://instantpot NULL.php)!  My directions below are for the Instant Pot, you’ll need to cook a day in your crockpot on low  if you don’t have one.

  • 1 pork butt
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • a 4″ piece of ginger cut into chunks
  • 1 head (yes a head) of garlic
  • 1 onion, in large chunks
  • Epicure’s Lemon Grass (I use about 15 pieces)
  • Handful of Cilantro

Cut off any big hunks of fat and put it in the pan to melt a bit, remove.  Brown your roast (I did mine on Saute in my Instant Pot).  Then pressure cook for 35 mins.  Add coconut, ginger, garlic, & onion and set to slow cook for 3hrs.  It will fall apart and will be almost like sauce!  Sorry, not photo’s of the completed dish, it was so great we ate it all without even a photo!

My first ever Boneless short ribs – Super Simple and oh so yummy!  I popped into my butcher to pick up some more jerky beef and spied something I’d never had before and had to try it!

Sear the ribs in a hot fry pan, coat with garlic powder.  Pop into your crockpot on low all by their lonesome.  If you’re home during the day turn them every now and then.  An hour or so before eating sprinkle on your Rib Rub to your heat tolerance.  Grind on Chili Garlic Sea Salt to taste before eating.

Asian Salad Rolls

I had taken out the ground beef to make taco’s and then had a craving for Asian instead of Mexican.  This turned out great.  I hadn’t planned to make this, if I didn’t I’d have purchased cabbage and added 1/2 cup of shredded cabbage too.

  • Lettuce – butter is ideal, didn’t have it so used Romaine and instead of wraps I got boats.  :)
  • 1 lb ground beef, butcher fresh is best!
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 knob of ginger
  • 1-2 tsp of Epicure’s Cinco Pepper
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp Epicure’s Teriyaki Seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce (or Coconut Amino’s)
  • 1-2 Tbsp Fish Sauce

Cook beef.  If you have a lean one you won’t need to drain.  When half cooked add ginger, garlic, and Cinco and cook beef through.  Add remaining ingredients and cook a minute or two.   Stuff into lettuce and enjoy!
